SUN Binary Code License

What Ms. Cooper has to say about Sun's open-source licensing is
absolutely authoritative, since she spearheaded the entire process for 
Sun Microsystems.  (Well done!)

I just wanted to add that I slightly misread the text about OpenOffice
on http://www.openoffice.org/license.html .  I can see how it's supposed
to be parsed, now, but someone as rushed as I was might misread it the
same way.  It starts out:

   OpenOffice.org uses a dual license strategy for the source code.
   These licenses are the GNU General Public License and the Sun Industry
   Standards Source License. When the GPL license is used, the libraries
   and component functionality of the OpenOffice.org source code will be
   licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL)....

That's where I got (in error) the notion that the libraries and
component-framework code will be LGPLed.
