Thanks Christine, you've obviously done a good job with startup funding. :-)
One of the benefits of open source development is that we have an incentive to cooperate. I look forward to doing so.

Dear Mr. Rosen-
I can shortly forward our most recent 990; we filed an extension for 2014 and our CPAs are completing that filing now. However, in the mean time, and I think more directly to the intent of your inquiry, please find below the list of top contributors, donors, and grants to the OSET Foundation. We are in the midst of negotiation on several additional sources that I cannot divulge yet (none of them include Mitch Kapor or affiliates). If and when those sources of funding are consummated we will certainly disclose those as well.
$385,000 The Commonwealth of Virginia
$300,000 Chris Kelly and Jennifer Carrico Family
$275,000 The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation
$175,000 Rock The Vote
$100,000 James Clark Foundation
$55,000 Michael L. Henry Family Foundation
Smaller gifts, between $10K to $50K have come from several, the top four including:
-- Barbara Coll Family
-- PJ Santoro Family
-- Alec Totic Family
-- Matt Mullenweg
I believe that addresses your or your client's question of our funding sources, born of the misunderstanding that we are primarily funded by the Mitch Kapor Family and/or his Foundation or affiliates.
Sincerely,
Christine M. Santoro, Esq.
