<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi all, <br> First thing for this list -- many projects have articulated the goal of greater community buy-in, but could still use advice on what strategies can help achieve that. The things that I've seen help with that are; transparent decision making, recognizing and appreciating many different contributors and supporting smaller user events and/or local meet-ups. <br><br></div><div>Cheers, <br></div><div>Deb<br></div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Tue, Jun 14, 2016 at 6:15 PM, Deb Nicholson <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:deb@eximiousproductions.com" target="_blank">deb@eximiousproductions.com</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><p dir="ltr">I started two separate threads on this list, jump on in! <br>

<span>As part of last phone meeting, we decided to brainstorm a list of principles or qualities that we think open source projects should consider. The goal is to eventually provide a resource along the lines of, "This quality helps you build this
kind of project" and/or "If you want more of X quality in your project, here are a number of tactics that other projects have employed to achieve that."<br>
