know, the OSI Board Members
attempt to convene sidebar
meetings for the community
along with each in person
board meeting.<br>

With the beyond-licensing
group getting into swing, I
figure it would be an
excellent opportunity to hold
a Town Hall style event in
Boston to coincide with our
next BOD in person meeting. <br>

The goal of this event is to
invite our members (and other
local interested parties) to
join us for an evening of
networking & moderated
discussion on how the OSI
could best serve the open
source world.<br>

Our call to action would be to
get interested parties to join
the beyond-licensing list and
work group (which I believe will
grow out of this list if it has
not already).<br>

We're working to make this event
possible the night of 21 April. If
you will be in or around Boston,
please join us. We'll send an
invitation to all of our members
but I will also update this thread
when details are confirmed.<br>
