[beyond-licensing] Save the Date: Beyond Licensing Town Hall in Boston, 21 April 2016

Hello everyone,

As many of you no doubt know, the OSI Board Members attempt to convene
sidebar meetings for the community along with each in person board meeting.

With the beyond-licensing group getting into swing, I figure it would be an
excellent opportunity to hold a Town Hall style event in Boston to coincide
with our next BOD in person meeting.

The goal of this event is to invite our members (and other local interested
parties) to join us for an evening of networking & moderated discussion on
how the OSI could best serve the open source world.

Our call to action would be to get interested parties to join the
beyond-licensing list and work group (which I believe will grow out of this
list if it has not already).

We're working to make this event possible the night of 21 April. If you
will be in or around Boston, please join us. We'll send an invitation to
all of our members but I will also update this thread when details are
confirmed.

If you cannot join us in person but there are questions you would like
posed to the audience, please reply back privately on in thread and I will
ensure these are asked at the event.

If there is interest from folks on list I can see what options might be
available for dial-in or video conferencing, with accompanying discussion
occurring in #osi on Freenode.

Thank you in advance to one of the OSI's new Board Members, Molly DeBlanc
who is working diligently to find us meeting space on the MIT Campus, and
to our Board President, Allison Randal, for moderating the Town Hall event.
